Larnaca has officially begun construction on a landmark €30 million Art and Design Centre — the largest cultural investment on the island to date. The project is the centerpiece of the Larnaca 2030 initiative, aiming to establish the city as a Mediterranean hub for arts and culture.

Designed by Foster & Partners

The complex is designed by the globally renowned firm Foster & Partners and will feature an Art Centre, Design Centre, and the Museum of People. With its striking architecture and open, inclusive design, the centre will attract artists, educators, tourists, and the local community alike.

A Symbol of Urban and Cultural Transformation

The new cultural campus will serve as a catalyst for social engagement and artistic exchange, offering space for exhibitions, creative workshops, and educational programs. The opening is expected between 2029 and 2030.
